I've been really busy writing this week and I love how my story is going. I took a break from the Contemporary Romance I was working on and delved into a YA that I'd shelved six months ago.

I adore this story. It takes me back to my teen days when you would find me holed up on my parent's verandah with the latest installment of Sweet Valley High. I've got a little boy now. I love him with all my heart, but every so often, I wish I had a little girl to pass on the many Baby-Sitters Club and Sweet Valley High books I've been saving for decades. Those are the stories I think teen girls should be reading these days, no sex, no drugs, and no violence.

I think I'm going to hop off my soapbox and head back into my writing cave. I don't mind the solitary confinement now and can actually sit in there for hours on end doing what I love to do best. I happen to be one of those crazy people that need the television to write and DH finally got me a spiffy new T.V. for my office. I'm in heaven!

Until next time....

I loved SVH and all those other books we would order from the school newsletters. I don't have children but if I had a girl, she'll be learning to read early just so I can make sure she continues my tradition of reading these awesome YAs.

I'm jealous, I need a tv in my office now!
